Muslims in West Bengal burns communal riots created by extremist Hindus

The communal riots in the West Bengal's state of Jharkhand have led to a shameful post on Facebook about the Prophet (peace be upon him) and the Prophet (peace be upon him).

Communal riots broke out in the West Bengal's state of Jharkhand after a shameful post on facebook about the Holy Prophet of Islam (peace be upon him). The riot which started on Monday is still going on. A week after the riots, clashes and arson occurred in different areas of the state, on Sunday. Police checkposts has been burnt in Darjeeling. The panchayat office has been vandalized.

The country's dominant daily Times of India said in a report that after the death of a protestor in Darjeeling in West Bengal, the Gorkhaland-based protesters made sporadic clashes and firing on Sunday.

According to the State, on Sunday, police in Darjeeling kursiom sub-divisional office was set on fire by protesters and its building was partially burnt in the fire. Gorkhaland fundamentalists have torched Pokhribing panchayat office too and a checkpost of police has been dissolved in Pokhari area of Darjeeling.

Earlier on Saturday, supporters of Gorkha Janmukti Morcha supported the mass vandalism. A checkpost on the hill and a government office have been attacked. Gorkha Janmukti Morcha has alleged that the police had shot dead one of the protesters.

After the police refused to accept the complaint, the two famous political parties of the hill Gorkha Janmukti Morcha and the Gorkha National Liberation Front declared that Tashi Bhutia, who was killed in police firing, was an activist of their party. Due to this pressure, a FIR has been registered at Sonad police station in Darjeeling.

Tension prevailed in Darjeeling in West Bengal since last month. At that time locals have been protesting for the separate state of Gorkhaland. Gorkha Janmukti Morcha, led by the movement, has announced a continuous program until the demand for separate state is met.

It is to be noted that, on monday, a violent Hindutva youth of Bashirhat in West Bengal made offensive remarks about Holy Prophet Mohammad (peace be upon him). A 45-year-old Muslim man who was injured in communal riots caused by extremist Hindus in Bashirhat, 70 kilometers away from Kolkata city, finally died while undergoing treatment at the hospital. West Bengal BJP leader MS Lukat Chatterjee was hit by the supporters of Trinamool Congress in power during the riot.

Since then, clashes occurred in Baduria, Bashirhat, Howrah, Swaroopnagar and Deganga. Several important roads were blocked in the state. Indian Border Security Force (BSF) was deployed to control the situation. The central government has deployed an additional 400 BSF personnel to bring peace to the state.e.
