Why are women at higher risk of this disease?

Therefore, before menopause, bone density and bone mineral content should be checked with doctor's advice. A pregnant woman must consume calcium and vitamin D for her baby's well-formed bones. There is no substitute for good food and regular exercise for strong bones.

Physicians say that a healthy lifestyle and habits also keep bones healthy and prevent osteoporosis with age.
