Your question & doctor's advice
I have been feeling pain along the middle of my chest for a couple of months. Having trouble breathing. I did ECG, blood test and X-ray on the advice of the doctor. No symptoms of the disease were detected. I am not getting any benefit from taking the medicine that the doctor gave me. I am 22 years old. What to do?

Suggestion: There was a need to explain in detail whether the pain is in any part of the chest, whether the pain increases with movement or with hard work, whether the pain spreads from the chest to another place. The risk of heart disease is lower at this age. However, there may be a problem with the ribs of the chest, the joints of the ribs or the muscles. Inflammation of the lungs and its lining, the pleura, causes pain and shortness of breath. Consult an experienced medical expert and tell all the history details.

Hormones
l I am 18 years old. The scalp and face sweat a lot. Especially when eating, the face becomes monotonous by sweating. Other parts of the body do not sweat in such a way. I am in a very embarrassing situation with this face sweat. Is it a disease?
Ragib Rafat, Sherpur.
Tip: These areas sweat a lot because there are more sweat glands in the face and head. This is called hyperhidrosis. This can often be due to thyroid problems, complications of diabetes, or side effects of certain medications. Again, many do not have a reason, but have a family history. Excessive sweating during gastric sweating or eating is a sign of neurological problems. You should have a thyroid hormone test. If there is no problem in it, it is possible to control it through some medicines and habits. To reduce anxiety, eat less spicy foods.

I am 25 years old. The beard has not grown well yet, there are light hairs on the cheeks, and some beards on the chin. I am very worried about this.
Imran, Barguna.
Tip: Don't worry about it. A few hormones need to be tested. There may be imbalance of some hormones like testosterone, prolactin etc. You should consult a hormone specialist.

Dermatitis
l I am 26 years old. The skin on my fingers has been rising for a long time. The skin of all the fingers becomes thin and red. The finger does not itch. Occasionally there is bleeding. The problem is more in winter. But it also gets hot. In the beginning there is a rash under the skin. Then the cracking begins. What is the solution?

Tip: From your description it looks like eczema. However, there is a complex disease called psoriasis of the skin, there is a risk of it. For now, use a paraffin cream or ointment that will keep the skin smooth, so that the skin does not crack. However, you need to see a dermatologist for a proper diagnosis.

Psychiatry
When I was in second grade, a teacher took my bag because of mischief. I was so frightened by the suddenness of the incident that the impression of it still lingers in my mind. I am 15 years old now. From then on I would talk alone after going to bed at night. As it grows, only bad thoughts come to my mind. I read in the magazine that my symptoms are similar to that of a disease called OCD. I'm so broken. I am lagging behind in my studies. Is there any way to be normal without going to the doctor?

Tip: Don't be afraid to go to the doctor. If you really have any physical or mental problems, then you must consult a doctor. Your problem may be a symptom of obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) or some kind of anxiety disorder. It is better to treat it with the help of a psychiatrist.
A childhood incident may have exacerbated your problem, but there is no reason to blame it. The disease should be identified with the help of a doctor and appropriate treatment should be taken. And if you are unable to go to the doctor right now, what can you do — when you have those bad thoughts and unnecessary thoughts over and over again, you will try to divert the unnecessary thoughts through other thoughts and actions. Try to keep the mind busy with various activities. Practicing mindfulness, relaxation or yoga can be effective in controlling your mind and emotions. And if you have OCD, but there is no alternative to medication. It is important to identify the problem first.
